Temple Shaaray Tefila Environmental Pledge

 At Temple Shaaray Tefila, we are a community driven by meaning, connection and purpose, rooted in Reform Jewish values, and animated by commitment to each other and the world. As part of such commitment, we believe we have an obligation to care for the earth. Small steps are important, and collectively small steps can make a big difference. Joining Shaaray Tefila's Environmental Pledge is a meaningful first step.

The Environmental Pledge is for you, individually or as a family, to take one (or more) actions that would benefit the environment. A sample of such actions would include: composting, taking mass transit, or participating in the RAC NY Climate Covenant Legislative Agenda.

Information about a different environmental topic will be shared in a series of web posts on the Shaaray Tefila website every other month. Each web post will provide insights, resources, and a variety of actions to incorporate into daily life. We are asking that you document your pledge to take action by filling out this form for each action that you or your family embark upon. This will help us to determine the success of our program.
